Superstars in the kitchen. Gift ideas for the person who likes to cook!

Updated: Nov 27, 2021

I have budding chefs in the house to which I say hallelujah! My daughters actually enjoy cooking! There are so many great cooking tools out there but how do you know where to spend your money this holiday season for the chef in your life? I'm here to help with gift ideas that will make cooking easier and more fun!

Some of the most delicious sauces require a lot of attention. But they're totally worth it in the end. When a sauce calls for continuous stirring, put this Automatic pan stirrer with timer to work. Place it in your pan with any simmering or low-heat liquid, set the timer, and go do the million other things you need to do.

My kids always grab an extra fortune cookie when we go out to eat so this is a new favorite in our house. The DIY Fortune Cookie Kit not only allows you to make the cookie but also come up with your own fortunes. What a fun activity for the family and a great way to make gifts for someone else with personalized fortunes. Just think of the cute things you could say to your own kids if they take a cookie with them to school each day!

Do you or someone you love enjoy eggs but maybe you want a more simple way to make them? Give the gift of a pretty and super easy Microwave egg maker. . Just crack one egg into the dish and poke the yolk, cover, and microwave for 40-50 seconds for sunny side up. Easy and usable for the whole family!

I think cooking should be fun and dressing the part (while keeping your clothing clean) is key. These aprons by Hedley & Bennett are practical, durable and stylish all at the same time. They even make aprons for kids! Perfect gift!

There is just something about a new and pretty pot that makes me feel good. I've used the same pots and pans for years and last year for Christmas my Mom gifted us a new set (moms always know what we need). At first I thought it was a strange gift because I have so many but once I broke out the box and cleaned out some old and tired pieces, I was delighted. This set by Gotham Steel Is beautiful and has everything needed for a full holiday meal.

This might be my new favorite thing to do, home fermentation! From sauerkraut to kimchi, this Kilner Glass Jar Fermentation Kit provides all the tools you need to create your own fermented food creations. Add vegetables, water and salt and you are on your way to homemade yumminess. I'll take the sauerkraut please!

Give your favorite chef the gift of time! This salad chopper and bowl set will be a welcomed addition to the kitchen. As a cook myself I love things that make life easier.

Happy Holidays Everyone.
